Gulf Marine Services owns and operates self-propelled self-elevating support barges and AHTS vessels. These assets serve the oil, gas and renewables sectors worldwide in all environments and conditions. The company focuses on offshore accommodation, well maintenance, project management, construction and installation activities.

The company was established in Abu Dhabi, in the United Arab Emirates in 1977. Its head office still remains in Mussaffah, however GMS has now expanded into other regions by strategically placing offices in key areas of offshore activity. GMS is the largest elevated support vessel operator in the Middle East, currently having a fleet of nine modern self-propelled jackup barges, one floating accommodation barge and two offshore supply and anchor handling vessels which serve our clients worldwide.

GMS constructs and maintains its vessels at its site in Mussaffah and has an extensive new build and replacement programme involving the construction of Gusto NG2500X DPII ESV's. These vessels are built to the highest offshore standards and have the ability to operate worldwide in a variety of environments.
